My heart aches
I know my Lord will provide
so why do I doubt?
I hate my humanness,
my frailty
Lord calm my raging storms
Forgive my unbelief
You have proven Yourself over and over again
Yet I fret
why do You continue to love such a fallen world?
Thank You for Your blood that covers all of my sins
Maybe some doubt my love for You because of my questions
but my love for You is real
The baggage I drag behind me stirs the dust and often clouds my vision
Thank You for loving me in spite of myself

He was 34 years old, laying there hard and cold
The glimmer of his sweet blue eyes never again to shine
The hugs a mother would never feel again
It just ain't natural the mother cries, for a child to go first
The questions reel through my mind and of course, one being "WHY?"
Life......Death......it just isn't fair
How does one go on? The grave, so dark, so permanent.
But only the shell is in that deep, dark hole
The spirit has flown on to the after-world, never again to feel pain, hurt or sorrow
Rejoicing will come in the morning.

Grace, Mercy and Forgiven
Grace, Mercy and Forgiveness--some of the greatest words ever. Thank you Lord for dying so that I might be forgiven and share eternity with You. Grace, what an incredible gift, a gift that is beyond what I can attempt to describe.....a gift that comes from God as man, crucified. God, innocent and crucified as a criminal--a man who faced all temptations, but remained sin free. We are told over and over that God's grace is sufficient. Grace is from God and made possible through Christ. Grace is in the bible 170 times.Grace is unmerited favor from God. There is nothing we can do to earn it; grace is free to us, but came at a price for Christ.
So many times we see or hear of others doing the unthinkable, as one forgiven, we are called to extend grace and forgiveness to others. This is not always an easy task, but forgiveness is for you not for them. Thank You Christ for Your unending grace. Even though it is free and I can do nothing to earn it, may I never stop giving You praise!!

Have you ever felt pain, pain so deep that only groans could escape your lips?
Have you ever felt pain, pain so deep that only groans could
escape your lips?
That pain can be any type of pain. It can be physical,
emotional or spiritual.
When you were in the middle of the pain, did you feel God?
Did you question if God was even around? Did you feel that you were trapped in
torment forever? Were you in a living hell?
The writer is in spiritual distress. The writer is weary. Verse 2 “In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying; my soul refuses to be comforted.” Verse 4: “You keep my eyelids from closing; I am so troubled that I cannot speak.” Sometimes we are afraid to seek God. Maybe we are afraid of what His response will be. Will He leave us here? Just as in the case of the psalmist in verse 7, “Will the Lord spurn forever, and never again be favorable?
God tells us He will never leave us nor forsake us. Even though we feel alone, forsaken and there are no words for us to pray...Romans 8:26 says, "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans." So don't feel bad that there are no words, the Holy Spirit is interceding.
It is hard in the moments of pain. It isn't always easy to see, hear or sense God in what is going on. I found
an awesome quote by Oswald Chambers about God’s silence: “His silence is the sign that He is bringing you into an even more wonderful understanding of Himself. When you cannot hear God, you will find that He has trusted you in the most intimate way possible—with absolute silence, not a silence of despair, but one of pleasure, because He saw that you could withstand an even bigger revelation. The actual evidence of the answer in time is simply a matter of God’s sovereignty. If Jesus Christ is bringing you into the understanding that prayer is for the glorifying of His Father, then He will give you the first sign of His intimacy—silence.” (My Utmost For His Highest—Daily Devotional)
May you cling to God's truths--God will never leave you, nor forsake you...God has a plan to prosper you and not harm you....My friend, God has a plan, it doesn't always look like we want it to, but God's ways are best. My prayers are that you find peace amongst the pain and chaos.
Blessings

You are not alone. There have been days that I have only been able to utter, Help me Lord or don't let go of me. There were no other words that seemed to come.
I love the Psalms. No matter what you are feeling, they are expressed there. I have read Psalm 77 recently.
